Santa House

Santa Claus is coming to town!  With the help of the City of Wyandotte and the Downtown Development Association, the Wyandotte Jaycees is hosting Santa's House!

We have created a winter wonderland with dozens of trees, decorations, and a gingerbread house.  We have received the Seal of Approval of Kris Kringle and the North Pole Brigade and made this a special place for everyone to come and see Jolly Old Saint Nickolas.

Santa's House is located at 3131 Biddle Avenue (Old City Hall) in Wyandotte.  We will be open on Fridays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  The cost is free to see him and talk to Santa, but if you want pictures, the cost will be $5.00 or a donation with your camera.

We will be closed for the season on the 22nd of December.

This year, the Wyandotte Jaycees have created a Hat and Mitten Tree.  This tree is designated for everyone to bring in a new hat, mittens, scarf, gloves, socks, etc, and decorate this tree.  This tree is located just outside the main entrance of the Santa House.  We have collaborated up with the Salvation Army and they will deliver these items to people in need for the holiday season.

On December 21st, the Wyandotte Jaycees and the Wyandotte-Trenton Masons have partnered up and will be doing ChildID program.  This program is geared aid local law enforcement to help locate missing children by obtaining pictures, dental impressions, DNA, voice recording sample, and other information that will be placed on a CD for your safe keeping just in case an emergency happens.  This is for the young and old.  The last time the Wyandotte Jaycees and Wyandotte-Trenton Masons partnered up we had an 89-year-old person participate.  This is a great project to help protect and save people in our community.

If you have any questions about these programs and Santa's House, please contact santa@wyandottejaycees.org or call 734-288-7024.
