What would the Wyandotte Street Art Fair be without lively tunes and refreshing spirits? Each summer, our members serve thousands of patrons who flock to downtown Wyandotte to enjoy live music on the Detroit River. The event is a considerable undertaking and never without a dash of chaos, but for those who love to socialize Beer Tent is a reunion of acquaintances old and new. It also serves as one of our top fundraisers year after year.

Held annually at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair, this contest is a fun way to spotlight all of the cute and silly tots who call downriver home. Voting takes place in-person and online over the four-day event and upon completion, the baby boy and baby girl who raise the most funds are declared the winners! Their reward? A story in the News-Herald and a ride in the Wyandotte Independence Day Parade!
Legacy Project — Haunted House
Among our longest-running fundraisers, some call the haunted house project the very heart and soul of the Wyandotte Jaycees! Produced by a dedicated and creative screwball cast of characters, the haunted house crew is forever in search of new misfits and miscreants who’d like to join the brood. In recent years the success of the haunted house was instrumental in the creation of the Caleb M. Diem Earth’s Great Treasure Memorial Scholarship and has also raised funds to sponsor the RHS Bearbots Robotics Team.
